Not many of you know that I volunteer at the library but I do because I fell in love with books before I did with fashion. Well, now I’m on hiatus because it’s almost time for me to go to college and since I’ll be hours and hours away from it, I won’t be able to continue working there. It is sad knowing that I have about a week left to say goodbye to everyone here.
Anyway, I really didn’t expect anything from anybody, even if it was my last day there – but I did, hehe! I assumed it would’ve been some kind of gift card or an ornament since the bag was light, but I would not have expected to receive something that was bought from COACH. Yes,the COACH Fireworks Signature Stars and Stripes ID Badge Lanyard Card Holder Case. I was ecstatic. I have never owned anything from them since I didn’t really need anything something that was that expensive. I remember my making fun of my mother because apparently, she was a huge fanatic with COACH – ”every girl loves COACH”. I cannot believe that my volunteer coordinator would buy an ID holder that cost around $50-$60 from there (the price tag was ripped off but found it on eBay). I actually don’t know when I’m going to use it but I know I will. Maybe I can use it to hold my student ID (that’s probably the reason why she bought this). What I like about it is that I could detach the lanyard from the ID holder and even use the ID holder as a small wallet with its pocket. The design is very patriotic but cute! I love anything with stars on it…
I’m not going to lie. I’m not that big of a fan of brand names (I don’t shop at any store with clothing that usually range above $20 because I have no job to do such a thing) but when I do get it as a gift, it does mean a lot. I mean, I don’t know who else who would spend that much for me. As cheesy as it sounds, it’s truly the thought that counts.
Update – 05/23/13: I practically use my ID holder everyday! This item is a must for college (unless you already got one for free)!
